More good news – there are so many companies that sell alternatives to single-use plastic.
We McSisters are so thrilled when we discover a new product and immediately share it with each other. There are so many ways to switch from plastic.
You can buy bar shampoo, dishwasher tablets that come in an attractive metal container and the refills come in a paper bag, sustainably-made toilet paper wrapped in paper, not plastic; toilet bowl cleaning tabs, not in a plastic container; dishwasher soap with no hidden microplastics, personal care products that are plastic-free, and so much more.
Many of these same products and ideas can be applied to your work environment.
One of my favorite experiences, when I share with my friends and neighbors about reducing my use of single-use plastic, is brainstorming about the alternatives.
